CE Marking – Lifts

Directive Lifts 2014/33/UE

APCER is an European Commission Notified Body No. 0866, for Directive No. 2014/33/UE of 26th February, on the harmonization of the laws of Member States relating to lifts and safety components for lifts. This document revokes Directive No. 95/16/CE, and its implementation became effective on 20th April 2016.

Portuguese Decree-Law No. 58/2017 of 9th June, sets out the requirements for the design, manufacture and placing on the market of lifts and safety components for lifts, transposing Directive No. 2014/33/EU.

The conformity assessment and the monitoring of CE Marking by APCER have the following objectives:
